“Taking the Restorative Teacher Training at Point Reyes Yoga with Amanda Giacomini and Kimiko Tao Fujimoto was truly a transformative experience. The depth of knowledge, compassionate guidance, weaving of philosophy and plant medicine, along with a beautifully structured curriculum, was beyond expectations. I was able to deepen my personal practice, gain understanding, and skills to share the gift of restorative yoga with others. Amanda and Kimiko, through their combined expertise and embodiment of the practice, emphasized both the science and the soul of deep rest, nurturing, and support. A weekend spent in the town of Point Reyes, nature, the beach, and at the beautiful studio felt like a retreat in itself and deeply connected me to my purpose. I can’t recommend the training and these teachers enough.” ~ Miki 2025 Graduate

“As I reflect on the weekend together, I think the biggest impact was the opportunity to receive the restorative practice and really embody the benefits.  The information and technical guidance was incredible but really being able to feel how the poses, timing, and instruction all come together for a transformative experience was truly invaluable.  The balance of lecture, practicum, and nature were spot on!” ~ Amy 2025 Graduate

“I came to this training with little understanding of how to use yoga props.  Learning that the props aided in taking all of the effort out, so that your nervous system could fully relax, was a game-changer for me.  During the class that Kimiko offered,  as we sat in meditation at the end, I felt a deep sensation of complete peace like I had never felt before.  It felt to me that from this seated position, I could one day levitate.  Incredible. I left the training feeling like everyone should do restorative yoga in this time of civil unrest! “ ~ April 2025
